According to Turkish presidential sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, Erdogan and Tillerson also exchanged ideas about the fight against terrorism, reports “Hurriyet”, Periscopi broadcasts.
During the meeting at the presidential complex, Erdogan told Tillerson about Turkish priorities and expectations from bilateral ties and regional developments, the source added.
Meanwhile, Tillerson and Erdogan have had a “productive talks” about common benefits to improve Turkey-United States ties.
