Thaci: Special, an evil to be swallowed for the sake of international partnership

He has declared that Kosovo had two opportunities to form this court and chose the less harmful path.

“We have been between two possibilities; the first opportunity for this issue to go through the Security Council, where Russia, China and other UN countries have not recognised Kosovo's independence; and the next opportunity was to establish the court with Kosovo legislation”.

“We have gone directly to such an opportunity with the sole purpose; to maintain strategic partnership with the US, the European Union and NATO”.
