Talat Xhaferi declared an honorary citizen in Suhareka

The Suhareka municipality on Sunday has declared an honourary citizenship “”, Macedonian Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferin.

This was done with the proposal of Mayor Bali Muharremaj and with the approval of the Communist Assembly at the last session.

It's honor and pride for me to announce this day to you that this honorary citizen “” Talat Xhaferi. Kosovo in note of its 10th anniversary of Independence showed that it is ready with its commitment to overcome all challenges, never forgetting its glorious past, and also in a democratic process, managed to recognise multiethnic life, believing that the future is built on the foundations of mutual genuine respect”, the head of Suhareka has said.

For his part, Macedonia's chief speaker has estimated that this title makes him more aware of the further event, as it holds responsibility to the citizens of Suhareka as well.
