The Kosovo government adopted a package of laws for the judiciary, which it told them will increase transparency and restore confidence in the judiciary.
Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri said rule of the law requires a powerful independent judiciary that strengthens rule of law.
” Return confidence in the efficiency of the judiciary. The new law imposes courts to publish judgments. I believe it will increase transparency and trust in the judiciary. I think today is one of the most special days for me. We will work to have the support of MPs because with the adoption of these bills, a new era for Kosovo judiciary” will begin, Tahiri said.
