In one of the harshest images of the Vietnam War, Brown still stands on earth with a back injury, reports “Daily Mail”, Periscopi broadcast.

When I look at this picture now, I say, “if I survive this, I can survive anything,”” said Tim Winterburg, who in the photo is seen helping an injured soldier.

Early in 1968, he was 20 when on the front line.

However, the wounded soldier is taken to a hill, after which a helicopter is helped.

The wounded soldier lives in Connecticut, but he has declined to be interviewed by saying soldiers should always be at the center of every story.. /Periscopi/
