Prices presented near products placed on major Kosovo hypermarkets are emerging to be untrue. The price presented by some products is cheaper than in fact paid by the ark.
So far, a series of at least three major markets in Kosovo that have already been convicted of consumer fraud has been found. They cheat at prices despite the fact that their revenues are multimillion dollars from consumer money.
So the state's sentences of between 1000 and 2,000 are low compared to the large revenues that make these margins.
One that has recently been convicted is Mustafa Rexhepi, director of the business subject “Super Viva” with the unit in Prizren on “William Walker” road. His business has a million in return. But it was fined 2,000 euros because it deceived consumers by placing other products on the shelf and other prices on the market vault, writes Insander.
“fine decision SuperVeva”, received by the Market Inspectorate that functioned under the Ministry of Commerce on December 29, 2017.
Market inspectors have found that two food products -- “Margarine Vital” and “Margorine Zvieda” -- did not have the same price as that of the shelf and the payment.
“Margarine Vital”, had the price of 0.40 euros on the shelf, but consumers have been cheated on the ark, they have been forced to pay the price of this product worth 0.42 euros.
Meanwhile for the next product, the “Marrogin Zviezda”, consumers of “SuperVeva”, in Prizren, has paid 0.47 euros for this product, even though it had the price of 0.42 euros on the shelf. In the fiscal ark consumers have paid 0.05 euros more.
Except this trick that has made “Super Viva” at product prices they have deceived consumers using two scales, which you have expired on March 3rd, 2017.
“Therefore such an action is contrary to Article 9. Paragraph 3 of Law No. 04/L-121 For the Protection of Consumer 76 points 1.11 and the same law”, says the argument of the Market Inspectorate, which Iseder provided.
For these “actions Super Viva”, it's required to pay the amount of 2 thousand euros in eight days since he accepted the decision.
Insander sent questions to “SuperVeva”, last week on this issue, but the newspaper has not received answers.
