Deputy Speaker of the Parliament and PDK Headship member Xhavit Haliti has said Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj's idea of passing the Demarket Agreement with Montenegro does not constitute innovation, since, according to him, renegotiation is also preceded with the Vienna Agreement.
Kosovo Deputy Speaker Xhavit Haliti says the idea of the Kosovo Government's number two number, Fatmir Limaj, for demarcation with Montenegro is not new, since, according to him, even under the agreement signed years ago in Vienna, it is envisioned the points where there are allegedly errors during this process.
These comments were made during an interview with the newspaper “Sound”, adding that political parties in Kosovo should discuss finding a solution. He has confirmed that failure to sign the Border Line Agreement with Montenegro would isolate the country, so he hopes that a solution will be found during Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovusic's visit to Kosovo.
Voice: The Assembly of the Parliament's Headship is scheduled to take place on Monday. Is the demarcation with Montenegro in line for the day of this meeting?
Haliti: Yeah, that's a matter to be discussed in Headship, then I don't know what Headship will decide.
