The former head of the Skywright municipality, Sami Lushtak, has become a citizen of the Republic of Albania on February 7th, by decree of Republika President Ilir Meta.
In addition to Lushtak, with the same decree, Albanian passports have been equipped with Nijazi Kryeziu, member of the Albanian passport The PDK from Prizren and Feride Lushtaku.
After receiving the Albanian passport, the chairman of the PDK branch in Skenderaj will travel visa-free to Europe's Schengen area, while Kosovo citizens are the only people in Europe who cannot travel without visas.
Several weeks ago, Albania's passport was also received by Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
