Game, revenge and setbacks from a decision have called President Hashim Thaci's withdrawal from the list of decorated with the Presidential Medal of Independence of Kosovo, which his office has made public the day before its anniversary of Independence, writes Koha Ditore today.
According to them, Thaci's withdrawal, which took place after four days of publishing the list, is the angry move he was rejected by a number of personalities and organisations that are part of the list of decorated ones.
The presidency of Kosovo on 16 February has published a list of the names of 255 people and organisations that have been decorated with the 10th anniversary of Independence. Four days later, on the social Facebook network, Thaci has been pulled out of this list by means of a post, saying she has been the list of proposed and self-proposed decorations and not decorated, as written on the list that has been forwarded to the media.
The paper has requested clarification concerning this from the Kosovo presidency, but the Office for Media of this institution on Wednesday has not returned answers.
