Very low temperatures have not often characterised this winter in Kosovo. But the coming days, citizens are expected to experience Siberian cold.
Very soon, an freezing weather is expected to grip Kosovo, as the country faces temperatures of up to minus 12 degrees Celsius.
According to meteorologists' forecast, the upcoming Saturday will be the last day the thermometer will not show temperatures below zero.
On Sunday, February 25th, the maximum temperature is not expected to be higher than minus 1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum parachute is set to be minus 4 degrees. Meteorologists predict snow will fall this day.
Temperatures are expected to drop continuously during the following days.
On Monday, the maximum is expected to be minus 3 degrees Celsius, while that minimum minus 7 degrees.
Tuesday, according to meteorologists, is expected to be even colder. Minus 4 degrees is projected to be maximum temperature, while minus 8 is projected to be minimal.
The abundance of the frost is expected to last even longer, on Wednesday. The minimum temperature is expected to be minus 12 degrees, meanwhile, the maximum minus 4.
A similar cold one is set to reign Thursday. The maximum temperature is expected to be minus 1 degree, meanwhile maximum again minus 12.
According to meteorologists' forecast, Friday is expected to be not as cold as previous days maximum temperature is projected to rise above zero to 3 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the minimum temperature is expected to be minus 6 degrees.
