US report: Kurds seek autonomy, but are hampered by Turkey, Iran, Russia

An official report presented by National Security Director of the United States Daniel Coats on February 13th has said the People's Protection Unit (YPG), which is known as the wing of Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), acknowledged that they are seeking autonomy. “People's Protection Unit, militia. “The People's Protection Unit ) the Kurdistan Workers' Party militia (PKK) are seeking autonomy, but this is facing resistance from Russia, Iran and Turkey,” writes in the report, entitled “assessment of a worldwide threat. ”
The report also cites tense ties between the United States and Turkey and envisions their future, reports “Hurriyet”, Periscopi broadcasts.
America's “United States must co-operate with Turkey to fight against I SIS, but preventing Kurdish regional ambitions will be the priority of foreign policy (for Ankara),” says the report referring to Iraq's Islamic State and the (ISIL) lens.
Syria is addressed in the section of “Middle East and North Africa”, which warns that “Russia and Iran are planning a long-term presence, ensuring the rights of military bases and contracts for reconstruction and use of oil and gas. ”
Also, the argument report that “Iran is looking to build a conglomerate from Iran via Syria to Lebanon. ”
Turkey has long criticised US support given to the YPG in northern Syria, saying it poses a threat to Turkish national security for a group linked to the PKK to gain authority at its southern borders./Periscopi/
