The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will assist in the rehabilitation project of the No10 railway line connecting Kosovo and Europe.
The Finance Ministry announced that today the signing ceremony for the Grant Agreement for the Project for the rehabilitation of Kosovo's 10th Iron Line between the Republic of Kosovo, represented by the Ministry of Finance and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The agreement will be signed by Finance Minister Bedri Hamza and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Managing Director for Central and Southeast Europe Mrs. Charlotte Ruhe, in the presence of European Commission for Neighborship and Negotiate Director Christian Danielsson, Director of Europe and Central Asia at the European Foreign Affairs Service (EEAS) Thomas Mayr-Hrating, as well as European Integration Minister Hoxha.
After signing the agreement, it becomes known there will be a press conference.
The signing ceremony and the Media Conference will be held today at 09:30.
This line is one of the Pan-European lines, which starts from Salzburg, and runs through Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia and ends in Thessaloniki, Greece. 148km of line 10 in Kosovo are divided into 3 phases: Macedonia, Fushesh Kosovo (64km), Fushe Kosova Mitrovica (34.4km) and Mitrovica Serbia (42km).
