About 730 complaints of workers for violations of their rights were sent to the Labour Inspectorate only in 2017.
In an interview for CALLXO.com, Labour Chief Inspector Basri Ibrahimi said the number of complaints of workers has marked the growth trend in the year we left behind.
This year we have about 730 complaints mainly from workers, and this is a growing trend, and I am very pleased that workers, however, have realized that they have to protect their rights, they have to commit to their rights, but I am also glad that they have gained confidence in the Labour Inspectorate”, Ibrahim said.
According to him, however, the Inspectorate continues to find several times more violations by regular inspections than reported by workers.
If we've had somewhere around three thousand re-species that we call, about 3,000 cases that we have the findings that there are violations while reports are only 727, then there's a big accord between the rights violations that we've outlined”, Ibrahim said.
Pollens accepted by workers according to Ibrahimi come mainly from employees in the private sector.
The biggest turnout and complaint is from the private sector, mainly in the public sector are competitions, with the case of contests being declared, then complain whether or are accepted...”, he said.
