Pristina municipality blocks AKP from recording vehicles

There are 33 vehicles of the Kosovo Privatisation Agency, which circulate into communications without continuing the annual census.

This is because the Pristina municipality is not giving away the confirmation of road tax payments, which is a necessary document on vehicle registration, KTV reports.

To extract this document, the subject that applies must have to settle property tax debt.

In the municipality, it shows that the reason for the census block relates precisely to the agency's large debt.

Adonis Tahiri, spokesman in the Pristina municipality, says that in the past this municipal problem and the agency had resolved it with a memorandum of understanding.

At the Kosovar Privatisation Agency, they refused to speak to the camera, but have admitted that cars have no record.

AKP spokesman Ylli Kaloshi has indicated that the debt has been raised due to creditors' complaints and the inability to carry out the liquidation process.

“Agency is ready to prepare distribution reports for liquidation companies, but there are obstacles from the Special Chamber of the Supreme Court of Kosovo, which is constantly causing delays in the process of reviewing creditors' complaints. Failure to issue these decisions in most cases is impossible to prepare the distribution report, which, in turn, means that you cannot afford to execute payments for legal creditors and, in this case, the Pristina Community”, Kaloshi said.

According to Kaloshi, the municipality should bear in mind that the absence of cars questions the realisation of AKP targets.

Kosovo Police sources have told Kohavision that already several hundreds of euro tickets have been issued as a ticket to AKP cars.
