President seeks new facility for institutions with the reasoning that Kosovo better be represented

President Hashim Thaci in his address to the government cabinet on the eve of the 10th anniversary of independence has proposed three points for the construction of three sites -- a new residence of institutions, a museum he proposes to be called the Independence Museum and a obelisk of freedom in Pristina, writes Periscopi.

“S first, the state of Kosovo needs to build a residential complex of state institutions as the necessity of time and real presentation of the Republic of Kosovo. Second, our centuries - old suffering is embedded in each of us. Our historical memory needs a museum, which I propose is called the Museum of Independence, where facts reflecting suffering and freedom and independence will be preserved and exposed. And third, the capital of the Republic of Kosovo, Pristina needs the construction of an Obelistk of freedom”, he has said. /Periscope.
