The proposed military Bugjet for 2019 also includes $850m to train and equip soldiers who fight against Iraq, Iraq's Islamic State and Levant (ISIL).
“Training, equipment and supporting operations in this requirement will consolidate profits achieved against [the] ISIL] and will prevent its resurface,” under the proposal presented in Congress.
The Pentagon wants $1.4 billion for the fiscal year of 2019, a amount that is slightly lower than the $208 billion budget, reports “Hurriyet”, the Periscope broadcast.
The US-led coalition, officially known as the Joint Combined Force Task Force, re-united Operation to Determination (OIR), said last month it is creating a 30,000-strong security force on the border in northern Syria along its border with Turkey.
In addition, the Pentagon's budget of unforeseen operations, also known as the war fund, has increased from 65.8 billion to $89 billion in the 2019 budget proposal.. /Periscopi/
