Bekim Haxhiu, one of the deputies who had repeatedly demanded that the Parliament abolish this tribunal, has changed its opinion.
He in a proposal for Insander said this initiative is currently “dead”, adding that all should already admit that we will have an unfair court, which, according to him, will only deal with alleged crimes committed by Albanians.
The moment the Prime Minister, President and Prime Minister have withdrawn, there is no further theme. If the heads of the state are declared to be withdrawing from this initiative then we should all agree. This is a huge injustice that has happened to the Albanian people, and we hope that the Criminal Army will be alike as it has been so far”, Haxhiu said.
As for OVL KLA leaders' request, that despite the withdrawal of leaders, they expect MPs who have been in favour of this initiative to continue to be further away, Haxhiu said that such a thing should not be expected.
I repeat, as the three leaders have withdrawn from this position, then no one of us expects us to continue this is”, Haxhi said.
A day ago O deputy chairman VL KLA, Migen Shala, in a response to Inseder, criticised this withdrawal, saying that as a war-deterred organisation, it will not sit back, not excluding even organising the protests.
