Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has declared during today that Burundi has drawn recognition of Kosovo as an independent state. The Serbian minister is trying to convince the states to attract recognition of Kosovo.
But, Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacalli, has offered evidence that Burundi has not drawn recognition.

In contrast, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has declared during today that Burundi has drawn recognition of Kosovo as an independent state.
“These days in Pristina mark the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence. I want to make a contribution. I have brought the note from the Burund Foreign Affairs Ministry, with which recognition of Kosovo,” said Dacic.
The Republic of Burundi has recognised Kosovo's independence in 2012. Burundi was the first member state of SADC and East Africa to recognise the independence of our country.
On February 17, 2008, Kosovo became an independent state. Today it is ten years since our country celebrates citizenship.
For a decade, Europe's newest country has been recognised by 116 countries.
