The two interior ministers agreed on strengthening co-operation between the two police, as well as increasing border controls between the two countries aimed at preventing illegal migration and drug trade. Spasovski and Xhafaj also talked about strengthening co-operation in the fight against terrorism and its financing.
We talked about reinforceing co-operation against drug trade, weapons and people. We jointly send the message of not selective warfare against this evil. We also talked about the Albanian Interior Ministry's initiative on forming the Regional Centre for Police Co-operation of Western Balkan Countries”, Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski said.
I believe that the issues we discussed about fighting terrorism and organised crime contribute to the peace and security of both our countries and the region.
