The only surviving suspect from terrorist attacks in Paris in 2015 has refused to respond to the court in a trial in Belgium, where he is on trial for the shooting fight that has led to his arrest.
Salah Abdelam said he would not answer the judges' questions.
My curiosity doesn't make me a criminal, it's my defence”, he said.
Obadiah, 28, has said Muslims “are being tried and treated in the worst ways, without mercy”, but he “believes Allah”.
I'm not afraid of you, I'm not afraid of your allies.
He has urged the prosecution to base his case “on tangible and forensic evidence, rather than trying to satisfy public opinion”.
Obadiah has refused to speak to investigators since his interrogation began in March 2016.
French prosecutors believe that he had a major role in the Paris attacks in 2015, in which armed and suicidal people have killed 130 people and injured hundreds more.
Following the attacks, Obadiah has been the most wanted man in Europe and has been captured in Brussels four months later. (REL)
