The executive director of the Centre for Humanitarian Law in Belgrade, a human rights organisation that is praised for its systematic and impartial investigations into human rights abuses.

Since the beginning of Yugoslav wars in the early 1990s, it has documented and protested war crimes committed between 1991 and 1999, including torture, rape and murder.

Throughout the war in Kosovo it was present by providing information to the outside world about human rights violations being carried out by police and paramilitary groups. She was one of the few Serbian rights activists to continue investigating the crisis in Kosovo following Slavko Curuvija's assassination and co-operating with ethnic Albanian activists.

She and her staff were anonymously threatened with their work, where the inscription “was placed in her work office. NATO spies”. In December 1999, Fund for Human Rights lawyer Teki Bocchi was arrested in Kosovo by Serbian police after protesting for Human Rights.

It offered a video of Bosnian Serb paramilitaries executing six Bosnian Muslim prisoners near Trnova, used as evidence of Serbia's role in the Srebrenica massacre, in which 7,500 Bosnian Muslim men and boys were killed.

In 2003, Ka persecuted took part in a protest held on International Day of Exiles in the Square of the Republic of Belgrade against the lack of information for Kosovo Serbs missing since the 1999 conflict.

She was threatened, faced and offended repeatedly by Serb attendees, who called her traitors, as an elderly Serb refugee from Kosovo-Nikola Popovic confronted her and struck her in the face.

It has followed is receiving more than 20 international, regional and national human rights awards.

In 2000 she won the Martinals Award for Defenders of Human Rights, she ranked as one of Europe's 36 heroes in 2003. In 2005 she was declared an honorary citizen of Sarajevo.

In September 2006, Ka persecuted was named Danica Hrvatska, by Croatia's president for individuals who have made a significant contribution to advancing moral values.

Some of the awards he received Ka persecuted are: The 1993 Human Rights Award, US and EU Prize for Democracy and Civil Society 1998, Martin Ennals Award for Human Rights Protectors 1999, the Award from the Lawyers Commission for Human Rights, National Democracy Prize for 2000, the Honourary Citizen of Sarajevo October 4, 2005.
