Minister Hoxha urges Bulgaria support for Balkan integration

“Bulgaria at the helm of the rotating EU presidency presents for the first time a Balkan country, ensuring increased commitment to the integration process, for this part of Europe, so from Bulgaria we seek empowerment in supporting this” process, the ministry said.
Bulgaria's “Moto at the helm of the presidency “United we are stronger”, also representing the position of our country, facing global trends for the region. Today's meeting with the ambassador was a case of discussing the EU's Enlargement Plan in the Western Balkans, Kosovo's comprehensive engagement in the integration process, as well as the assessment of achievements”, Hoxha stressed.
Bulgaria is also aiming at the prospect of EU membership of its neighbours in the Western Balkans, Ambassador Nediltcho Dimitrov Danchev stressed.
The Western Balkans need a clear European perspective and ties between them and member states”, Ambassador Danchev stressed, adding that each country separately from the Western Balkans must meet obligations from the Enlargement Plan.
