During the weekend, Serbian media have reported that former Czech diplomat Jan Kavan has launched a petition for attracting recognition of Kosovo from the Czech Republic and that a protest will also be organised, with President Milos Zaman expected to join.
But at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kosovo has said they have not accepted any indicators the Czech Republic has changed its stance.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Rayhan Vunqi has told “Zen” that information for attracting recognitions is propaganda of Serbian media.
She even announced that on the 10th anniversary of Independence in Kosovo there will be two Czech foreign affairs deputy ministers.
The “absolutely isn't true, still I'm talking about it, are Serb media propaganda. We haven't accepted any such indicators from the Czech government, but we will have two Czech Deputy Foreign Ministers guests for the 10th anniversary of Independence, who come at my invitation”, Vunqi has declared.
