Kosovo's “Canton” article in the prestigious Swiss newspaper on the eve of the 10th anniversary of independence

The newspaper “Neue Zürcher Zeitung”, the most prestigious (not only) in Switzerland, has cost Kosovo's 10-year-old jubilee of independence a number of its monthly warehouse “Talk to NZZ” This number of individual brochures has included several extensive articles that deeply beat various aspects of life [...]
In this number of forms of a brochure, several broad articles are included that deeply beat out various aspects of life in Kosovo, and in particular those that connect Kosovo with Switzerland.
February 17, 2018 Kosovo celebrates the 10th anniversary of independence. It is not recognised by all UN member states, and this is just one of the problems Kosovo has. Citizens do not have freedom of movement (visa obligation), unemployment rate is high, nearly lacking investments from abroad, while legal uncertainty and corruption characterise this state”, said the editor of the special number of “Folio Magazin NZ”, writes albinfo.ch.
“Switzerland has started early on its commitment to Kosovo's independence. Thanks to 200 thousand people living in us as diaspora, we are closely associated with Kosovo; the expression Kosovo Canton is not meant to be derogatory, but it is an expression of sympathy. There are many reasons for this, such as stories of the success of the integration of “seconds and secondove” (second generation youth) that we're telling in this number”. This is the entry text of the special number, which, as you can see when you read the articles it contains, is also a kind of Swiss love for Kosovo and Kosovars.
These articles are written by prominent pens of Folio magazine and various editorials of the newspaper “Neue Zürcher Zeitung (“NZZ”) or even foreign authors. They paint very realistic pictures that combine very human and kind views of Kosovo today and of the Swiss-Kosovo reports.
File starts with “Welcome Swiss”, which is a description of life in Kosovo, primarily in its capital, Pristina, confessed by important personalities and each uniquely in its domain. They, with despair but simultaneously with a hope for the future, describe the current not very bright situation in Kosovo.
The next article refers to Mitrovica as responsible for the underground wealth of northern Kosovo, the industrial colossus, almost asleep, Trepca. The conflict between Serbs and Albanians in this heated hearth finds the point of the explosion.
There the author through a former Albanian miner and another Serbian, Serbian worker reflects the development of events in Kosovo in the last 30 years. From the economic giant in socialism that provided the well-being of ten thousand workers and their families, “Trepca” today is almost dead. In the end, the two protagonists, the Serb and Albanian stay in theirs: one says that “Trepca is Serbian property”, while the other: “Trepca belongs to Kosovo”. And it adds: “I'm able to protect it with my life!”
An article on Faton Zamenoulah, a prominent rapper named “Da Ghost”, who after living about 20 years in Switzerland, decides to return to her homeland in Pristina. He had been thinking about trying this for two years, but in the meantime it was 4 years old and Faton is still in Pristina... Recognising both realities, he is able to speak from the two prospects: both “schatzi” (as they are called in Kosovo exiles), but also as Kosovo citizens. He, the end of his childhood years, has spent years in Kosovo, where he is even now, after a long break.
The women are making a career”, so the next article is entitled, where the author has followed developments within the ten years of three Albanian women from Kosovo, who have lived for years in Switzerland. He had published just ten years earlier, in 2008 the article in which three news stories were presented, among other things: Ylfete Fanay, Shiponja Isufi and Albanian Bajrami. Today, 10 years later, he meets them again and releases the balance of this decade, linking it to the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's independence.
