Jovanovic: Independent Kosovo, fact like physics

Asked why Serbs are hard to convince that Kosovo is independent, Jovanovic has said that the unfinished “works are presented in the Serb stance.

“Most often, we through attitude towards Kosovo broadcast and promote what is the worst in us, a series of mistakes we made. It's Kosovo first. We had problems in relation to Slovenia, with Croatia, with Bosnia, finally with Kosovo and had problems with ourselves. I see in the absence of a clear policy that people would be given perspective. I'm the only one who realizes that Kosovo is independent. Others know that. I admit it, I don't think I can argue with him. That fact is like physics”, declared Jovanovic for KTV.

According to Jovanovic, Serbian politics has never thought of the consequences it could cause the country, even with Kosovo's non-recognition.

“If the cameras were stopped, the others would say so, we understand that, but then what? We don't have to accept it, we can wait. But when you ask them what you expect they can't answer. We'd say that we've waited 500 years for the Turks to go, we're waiting for 500 years for something to happen, and that's the guarantee that something is going to happen, but there's no. What a price we'll pay for this is never meant. This is where politics never thought about the consequences behind it, and here politicians are the only ones who are spared any kind of responsibility. You can destroy the country, be responsible for the removal of millions of wise people, for wars, for destruction and for saying that you need to answer anyone for the horrors left over in”, he said.
