A 38-year-old has given false alarm at Las Vegas and Midland airports in the US, saying his father and brother are terrorists.
But in fact, the reason he did this is strange, reports the TCH. Sonny Donnie Smith's family had received an invitation to the wedding while he did not, writes the Associated Press.
He admitted before authorities he made an anonymous call to airport security officers in Las Vegas and Midland in Texas.
In fact, the call has been made since September 3, 2016, but it was only now made public due to the outcome of the investigation. Just after long investigations, there was no terrorist threat.
But his father and brother, despite saying he had made false alarms, were arrested and questioned by investigators, so they missed their flight.
Smith himself currently faces two years in prison, $250,000 fine and one year forced labor.
