Turkey's President, Recep Tayip Erdoğan, said it is wrong to say that the US are equal to NATO, but that all NATO member states are equal to the US, says Anadolu Agency
“What is this NATO membership, what is this joint NATO partnership. If we are together in NATO, America should respect NATO provisions and regulations as much as Turkey respects. I as president in Turkey want to know that NATO is not equal to the United States, but all separate states are equal to America”, Erdoğan said at a meeting of the Justice and Development Party's parliamentary group ( AK Party.
