Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has commented on the agreement reached between Kosovo and Montenegro for demarcation, under which the correction of the previous version is provided.
Haradinaj, says the session called for Sunday has been postponed in order to have consultation with all parliamentary groups and with all MPs.
The hearing call for Sunday was from the great and good will after the agreement was reached, but the topic of demarcation is the topic that has been waiting for years and wants consults with all parliamentary groups, with all MPs carefully, so that we can have a well prepared session. There's a difference in the actual situation. There is an agreement between the presidents, which speaks of the option of revising and correcting the situation towards Chuckorri and Tower”, said Haradinaj's statement, which was sent via email, Periscopi reports.
Haradinaj says the agreement is matter between the two presidents, the Kosovo one and Montenegro.
I myself as Prime Minister have been working all the time on this deal, on its substance and thanking everyone that has been engaged. This agreement and the Law for ratification that will pass Parliament should be a document and should be voted together. We will follow all procedures and preparations for this. We've lost nearly three years for this and maybe a week goes by, but we should be prepared and careful about preparing the session, but there's no turning back”, the statement said.
We are in the process of resolving the demarcation issue, Haradinaj says.
“History will show that from all of this we have acquired the country's territorial right and freedom of movement and have removed Kosovo from a very serious position. We had failed to do this alone, without the understanding of many, and now it is important to have the understanding of all, the Serbian List, Vetevendosje and every MP in the Assembly, that it is a moment we should all be together”, it says in the end. /Periscopi/
