The UN secretary-general is scheduled to pay a visit to South Korea next week for talks with South Korean leaders and to attend the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Pyongchang.
According to diplomatic sources, Antonio Guterres could benefit from his attitude to meet with representatives of North Korea.
