Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias has received a letter containing “threats for him and his family”, Civil Defence Minister Nikos Toskas said.
He said that in paper “three more bullets are mentioned for Kotzias”.
Toskas added that in recent weeks, Kotzias has received letters and other threatening calls, as have other government ministers.
Toskas gave no more details.
Athens and Skopje are holding talks on resolving the Macedonia name dispute, which has strained relations between them since Macedonia declared independence in 1991.
Greece refuses to recognise Macedonia by that name, saying that this suggests Skopje has territorial claims on a northern Greek region, which is also called Macedonia.
