Bakoyannis, who signed the maritime pact with our country in 2009, accuses the Greek government of making secret agreements with Albania on the naval border in Ion, causing the Albanian side to benefit much of its maritime space from this deal.
As for the maritime pact of nine years ago, the former Greek Foreign Minister considers a balanced and constructive agreement for both sides, despite its failure to be implemented due to the deadlock by Albania's Constitutional Court.
“The government is dealing with national issues in an unstable and irresponsible manner”, says MP and former minister Bakoyannis, raising some questions for Nikos Kotzias:
“Why is the government reviewing a balanced agreement for the 2009 maritime areas that was agreed upon and signed by Greece and Albania“?
“Which parts of the agreement are planned to review”?
“Is it true that the government intends to change the Greek position for setting the boundaries of marine zones under “the middle line“?
