Fatmir Limaj's message about Special Court

Limaj has said today that it is already a matter carried out. Now, according to him, Kosovo must with dignity face this unfair and harmful situation.

We have inherited bad deals. We need to be careful when entering international agreements and obligations. The moment you enter the commitment, then you must be careful to maintain the credibility of the state, the image of the country. The Kosovo Parliament has approved it, we have been in the voices that we have rejected and we have shown why this agreement should not be voted on. But, the Kosovo Assembly has voted it out -- it's a closed case”, Limaj has said of RTK.

Limaj has added that Kosovo must face this challenge -- Kosovo's task, according to him -- is to prepare with dignity to face the issue.

“Now Kosovo should be dignified to face this unfair and harmful situation”, Limaj stressed.

“State on one side, individual on the other. There is no price that Kosovo must pay for the individual. There's logic and it would always have to pay for the state, but not the state for the Individual. This is a tradition we practiced by 99. You have before you the man who has responded to justice for 15 years, but I never asked the State to come out and become my shield, on the contrary. We have also faced in Hague even there, and we have said that more important than the fate of the individual must be the fate of the state, so it should be now”, he has declared.
