The European Commission has reacted to Prime Minister Edi Rama's comments in the Kosovo Assembly.
During a speech, Edi Rama said Albania and Kosovo could have a joint president.
But EC spokeswoman Catherine Ray said these statements are inappropriate.
“Declarations that can be interpreted as a political interference in neighbouring countries do not help build good neighbourly relations,” she said.
“The EU expects the region to continue building constructive and co-operative relations”.
“The EU has continued to support the principles of reconciliation and co-operation in this region”.
This is not Edi Rama's first statement, which brings stir not only to the region, broadcasts the map.
Several Serb peripheral politicians have demanded that Rama be proclaimed granting grant to Serbia after recent comments.
