Ramush Haradinaj, Kadri Veselini, LDK and Behgjet Pacolli have confirmed today that they have reached agreement to vote on the Demarket Agreement, at the next session held on Wednesday.
But, only First Deputy Prime Minister Behgjet Pacolli has clarified that the agreement has been reached after the prime minister has agreed to the LDK's condition, which has demanded that the Speed Bulqi Report be only inphilory and orientation in the Demarket Agreement.
“The prime minister has agreed that the agreement will be voted in as the LDK has requested”, Pacolli said, in a conversation for the Express, which has confirmed the first agreement.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has announced reaching the agreement. But he hasn't made it clear to the end. He has only mentioned the fact that the Buliki Speed Report will be part of the Demarket Agreement. Without specifying what quality this document will be in.
“Citizens of the Republic of Kosovo confirmed that the ruling coalition has avoided the recent political obstacle, which ensures political unity in parliament. The law includes the August 2015 Agreement, the joint declaration of the two presidents, Thaci and Vujanovic, as well as the State Commission's Report on border demarcation with Montenegro”, has written Haradinaj.
On the other hand, LDK Deputy Chairman Agim Veliu has told Express that he welcomes the reconciliation's arrival for the agreement to be voted according to the largest party's demands in Kosovo, the LDK. He has said that the agreement will be voted on based on the document signed in 2015 with Montenegro, the president's statement and Bulqi's report on the quality of the information document for MPs.
“Definitely, it may be considered that this problem and dyvergence between the LDK and the prime minister have been chosen. There would be no problem”, Pacolli said a few minutes after the deal was reached with Haradinaj.
Meanwhile, demarcation failed twice, in the last two sessions, as the AAK's LDK disagreed over the contents of the document that would be adopted in Parliament. Isa Mustafa's party demanded that the Bush report be only informative, while Haradinaj demanded that the same be binding.
Along with the agreement reached between Kosovo and Montenegro in 2015, it will be ratified in Parliament, and the document signed by Kosovo and Montenegrin President, which confirms that improvements can be made to mark the border line if new facts are found.
The agreement reached in 2015 had failed to be ratified after AAK, NISMA and Vetevendosje had argued that Kosovo loses land. Vetevendosje has not changed its stance until they have warned against voting.
