On the occasion of signing the contract, congratulating MPs, the mayor as well as all residents of Decani, Minister Lekaj has expressed himself: “on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kosovo, on the day of signing the new border demarcation agreement with Montenegro, in the wake of the Haradinaj Government's successes, in the presence of Kosovo MPs, coming from the Decani Council and the mayor of Komun, the subsigned contract to start work on the Devanca street, which will be financed around 12m euros.
In full co-ordination with the contracted operator, construction of this road will begin in March of this year, depending on the weather conditions. This road will be drawn even with many Albanians living on both sides of the border, connecting our two states -- Kosovo and Montenegro -- but will, above all, affect tourism development as a key artery for Deccanin.
Begling Decani's citizens for positive development, I would like to say that the Haradinaj Government is interested in investing in road infrastructure across the country, always based on the need of citizens, but also on our strategy to positively influence the country's economic development.
