There was no sleep on the night of February 16. There was no personal comfort, there was emotion in me like any Albanian. There was a moment that didn't have the luck of killing other generations. They were preparing for recognition. The memorable date. We had this destiny as a generation. Important that it was a joy. ”
Asked about other details of those hours, Sejdiu has also recalled the news of Serbia's arrest warrant.
“The arrests had been granted for free separation from Serbia for 15 years, a prison sentence of at least 15, from one for me, chief Parliamentary Krasniqi and Thaci. ”
Sejdiu has also talked about the cold weather, remembering that even the low temeperates of that day were in favour of controlling the measures they celebrated.
