Kosovo is obviously part of Serbia”, Austria's deputy commander, the FPO chairman, Heinz-Christian Strache, has said simultaneously.
He has thus stated in an interview given to the Serbian media, Politika, shortly before even the official visit to Serbia, Klan Kosova conveys.
The minister of Civil Services and Sports in Austria has reportedly confirmed that he has sharply criticised the recognition that the Austrian state has made Kosovo independence.
Kosovo's “recognition from Belgrade is Serbia's work. It would be a big mistake if pressure was put on Serbia in this direction. Austria must play the mediator's role as a neutral country”, Strache has said.
He has stressed that Serbs living in the northern part of Kosovo have the right to self-determination or autonomy, but that this would require long negotiations, and that Kosovo according to him is ruthless in the matter.
