Apostolova meets with Serbian List on Demarketing Issue

The chief of the EU Office has met Republika Srpska List before the demarcation released in the Assembly. This meeting came after the Republika Srpska List, so far, is not in favour of ratification of the demarcation, thus making it difficult to obtain the numbers for ratification. But, the Bulgarian diplomat has not announced whether she has convinced them. Ratification of the S radition was [...]
Ratifications of the SHS has never been closer during these three years since the signing of the agreement with Montenegro. The only obstacle is about five votes, with which 2/3 would be reached, enough to ratify this agreement. To convince MPs, internationals are also contributing, who want this case to be closed at any cost.
Since the Vetevendosje Movement is against the demarcation, unable to pass with the votes of the Albanian majority, the ruling coalition needs their partner's votes, List Srpska. Independent of Kosovo politics and the Kosovo government, foreign ambassadors are trying to convince Serb deputies.
The Express newspaper has asked in the EU Office, if so far the EU chief has met List Srpska to talk about their vote for Demarketation. The meeting with them is confirmed.
The European Union welcomed the joint declaration between the president of Kosovo and Montenegro as an important step towards visa liberalisation. Prior to the debate in Parliament over the Demarketing Agreement, Apostolova has met all parliamentary groups”, the EU Office for Journal Express said.
Besides Apostolova, Ambassador Greg Delaway has also been activated to convince Serbian deputies of their votes in one way or another.
He in a Twitter post said visa liberalisation -- which is achieved with the ratification of Demarketation -- will be a good one for all Kosovo towns, regardless of their ethnicity.
Crossing the Demarket Agreement is essential to ensure the free movement of Kosovo citizens from all communities. Everyone can agree on that and I hope that all MPs in the Parliament will vote for”, Delawi wrote in Titter.
Delawies' statement comes after the media reported that the Republika Srpska List has the condition that the Serb municipal community first be established, and then put on the agenda of Demarketation.
List of Srpska MP Slavko Sini has said that Demarkation is a question that positively affects Albanians only, and Delawi wants to ensure that the pro demarcation vote is important for all.
The Express newspaper has tried to take a stand by Serbian MPs regarding their vote, but the same have refused to speak.
Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj does not know either if he has the votes of the Republika Srpska List. Asked whether Serbian deputies would vote on the next Demarket Bill the Government adopted yesterday. But he has praised the participation of Serbian ministers in government meeting
It was a good sign that they were at the Government meeting because many other topics were not, namely. is a good sign and see what will happen”, Haradinaj has said.
