At the order of the Elbasan prosecution, former Director General of Roads Dashamir Xika has been arrested.
It is said that his ban was made after investigating the file for possible abuses on Elbasan-Gainar Street. Jika is part of a group of 11 people who have been detained at the prosecution's order as suspects of a major damage caused by the Elbasan-Gynar Street project.
Among those arrested are former transport ministry officials and leaders of construction firms.
