Agreement signed for Pristina-Gylan highway

The Ministry of Infrastructure through a media communique has announced that Minister Paul Lekaj, in the presence of two deputies of the Republic of Kosovo Assembly, coming from Gjilan, Zenun Pajaziti and Ahmet Isufi, his associates and officials of the Ministry of Infrastructure, has signed the contracts of economic operators for building the highway. [...]
That is the position of Minister Lekaj with the case of signing the operators' contracts.
“In accordance with the Law on Public Procurement of the Republic of Kosovo, in the presence of two deputies of the Republic of Kosovo Assembly, coming from Gjilan, Zenun Pajaziti and Ahmet Isufi, my associates and officials of the Ministry of Infrastructure, today we signed the contracts of economic operators for auto-building, A 7.1, Pristina Gjilan. This means that we will soon start working on materialising this very domain project for Gjilan, but also for Kosovo and its connection to corridors.
From the original price for this project, the budget of the Republic of Kosovo has been saved over 12m euros -- money, which can already be accommodated for other projects. Also planned to be spent as the project price, more than 41m euros less cost the contracts of eight economic operators.
As I said from the beginning, we haven't come to the government, respectively, at the Ministry of Infrastructure to suffice no project on electoral and party bases, as we are referred to by the former government in succession, which today are in opposition. We will be equal for all municipalities, and throughout Kosovo we will treat the same in the sense of distributing infrastructure projects.
For Gjilan and its citizens, this road means, faster economic and physical communication with the whole country.
