“AGK found out that journalist Taulant Osmani from Calco. com has walked out of the country's space, from a person who is once represented as the cabinet staff of the Speaker of the Parliament, once a member of the Kosovo Police.
According to the incident's report, journalist has been standing in the corridor near the office, where representatives of parliamentary political subjects with Parliament Speaker Kadri Wessel were being held.
There was a guy who wanted accreditation, and I presented it. Then another person came out who told me that accreditment from the Parliament expired in December last year and that I cannot stay there. But we and all the media have applied in time to continue, and it's the Parliament that hasn't prosecuted the continuation of media accreditation”, recalls the story journalist Osmani adding that “... then he forced me by arm and forced me out of the constitution”.
The Kosovo Journalists' association considers this as a direct obstacle and the exercise of violence against journalism, despite the argument that the accreditation has expired because no one has the right to practice violence against media workers and especially in situations where reporting has to do directly with the interests of our citizens and our country.
This event once again scatters the thought and disrespect of our public institutions towards the work of journalists”, they reportedly.
