The women arrested were involved in the anti-jabi campaign, known as “white vans”, after those protests removed their cover, the AP reported.
This form of protest is continuing for days at a time, as women are opposed to wearing a cover, but all those who are doing so are being arrested.
This protest is under way, following civic protests that were held in many of Iran's cities, where they protested the country's government and greater democratic space and economic development has been required. /Kosovo pres/
