Chairman The PSD, once leader of dialogue with Serbia, has been presented at a media conference, along with President Hashim Thaci, Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselin and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, after a co-ordinating meeting they have had for dialogue with Serbia.
Ahmeti, has responded sharply to journalists, saying joining the PSD comes as the state's need to represent unilaterally before Serbia.
He said he is still opposed to Hashim Thaci being president of Kosovo, as he has been before, writes Periscopi.
I didn't vote on the president. I was against him. We are together because it is a state need to protect Kosovo's interests in dialogue with Serbia”, he said.
Ahmeti also recalled an earlier conference he had with Haradinaj when he had told him that if he had the opportunity, his party would bring him down from power.
This is the work of the opposition”, he said. /Periscopi/
