Power in Macedonia will not expect either the president's firm, Gjorge Ivanov, nor the future president to declare the Law for Use of Languages in the Official Journal.
This law and Prespa's deal, Chief Parliamentary Talat Xhaferi, will be handed over to Official Journals shortly after the adoption of constitutional changes during January.
We do not expect or hope to have any agreement with the President regarding the Law of Languages. I think that after the completion of the constitutional changes process, the publishing of the agreement with Greece will continue as a precondition for continuing the process in Greece and the Law of Languages. And both of these laws will be published by the Speaker of the Parliament in the Official Gazette, under the Constitution as a result of the failure to comply with the Constitution by President”, said Bujar Osmani, Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs, broadcast Persiscope.
Osmani added that Skopje has full confidence that the current Greek government has the necessary majority to ratify the Prespa Agreement and the protocol for the country's NATO membership.
Power in Skopje does not see the deal endangered, despite threats by Greek Government coalition partner Panos Kamenos that he will give up power when the process ends in Skopje. /Periscopi
