Number of border police increase with Serbia following 100% tax

Last Wednesday, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo imposed a 100% tax on all goods entering Kosovo from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This decision was welcomed by Kosovo's institutions, businesses and citizens, but is continuing to be rejected by Serbian and Bosnian authorities.
After the tax was imposed, it was reported in the media that Serbs are not stopping transportation with goods, illegally introducing them on Kosovo territory.
Kosovo police have said that with the 100% tax imposed, forces at the border have also increased.
