The US State Department has declared Pompeo has asked Hashim Thaci that Pristina withdraw the decision to raise the tax on Serbian and Bosnian goods, and to return efforts to normalise relations with Belgrade.

However, Kosovo Prime Minister Avni Arifi's adviser, Avni Arifi, has said they will not withdraw the tax decision.

Arifi, who is also representative of the Kosovo side in dialogue with Belgrade, has denied such an opportunity, saying: “No, we will not withdraw the tax. The government will fall sooner than withdraw this decision. ”

It is believed that the request for tax evasion has come directly from US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who had an official meeting with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, writes “Telegraf”,
