Media in Serbia have remained shocked by a step Russia, their closest friend, made since the latter supported the INTERPOLʹ agenda for tomorrow, where it will be voted for Kosovo membership.
Serbia, however, had demanded that this agenda be changed, but received negative answers from the INTERPOL Assembly Council.
However, the shocks came from Russia at this point.
According to media sources in Serbia, Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly failed to prevent Kosovo from being decided for a vote tomorrow at the INTERPOLı Assembly. According to them, six other INTERPOL member states had supported this agenda being changed, but not Russia.
Media there write that on behalf of Serbia, and against Kosovo's involvement in the agenda, there was Spain, Cyprus, China, Syria, Venezuela, Suriname. In Kosovo, however, the US, France and Guyana voted.
The “Russians have not received instructions from their government to talk about the issue. Kosovo was approved to enter the ranks of days tomorrow, and will also be voted for its” membership, Serbia's Telegraph has learned.
