Former Minister of Trade and Industry Bajram Hasani has commented on the Haradinaj Government's decision today, which has approved the import trade measures for products coming from Serbia and Bosnia. That move, according to former Prime Minister Hasani, will last only a week.
At the time I was minister of commerce and industry, I took several measures to neighboring countries for products that were damaging to our manufacturer. You have very fresh memories that these decisions were rejected by many of my former colleagues from the government cabinet, arguing that we are damaging relations with neighbours and breaching the CEFTACE Agreement”, Hasani wrote.
On the other hand, he has declared that by recognising the Kosovar side, he doubts the decision will last until next Tuesday.
“was nice when the same today called for measures against Serbia and Bosnia. Recognising many doubts that these measures will be over, can only last until next Tuesday”.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has indicated after the government's meeting that he has approved import trade measures for products coming from Serbia and Bosnia. The move was taken following the proposal that Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala, for a 10 per cent tariff measure for products imported from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Haradinaj has announced that Serbian products, except for international interiors, will have an additional 10 per cent tax. We've taken protective measures for the first time. We have made the decision to impose tax on products of Serbia and Bosnia”.
