He has written a farewell letter and said his resignation is indignation towards the leaders of this institution.
He says he did not retaliate for his achievements, schooling and commitment to the KSF but who feels privileged for the time he wore this uniform.
Here's his farewell letter:
A Letter of Farewell
The Kosovo Security Force, today marks its own day, as well as its “Forces Day”, I decided on this very day to leave this force expressing my deepest indignation, never to my KSF and Homeland Kosovo, but to the individuals with whom it leads and has in their fist this state, and also the most trusted institution in the KSF citizens. Even in KSF, as well as in any other institution in Kosovo, man is not valued for his abilities, schooling and potential, but for his family and political ties.
For you friends who know me you know how hard it has been for me to make this decision, but having no other way, I have to step back and keep my life away from my country and outside the KSF.
I'm not the first, but I'm not the last to leave the most trusted institution and the most privileged institution in the country, there are probably tens of thousands of members waiting to leave... why?
This should be a concern for the heads of state.
I don't want to take it as a lack of patriotism because you come from a family that has been forgiven by a military man who has never hesitated to send his rifle back to the enemy to death, and if you ever come back that day I will return to that same goal.
In the hope that better days will come for my country I am leaving, my former colleagues want you to be very successful, and I hope you appreciate their knowledge and commitment.
