Today's action focused on cleaning spaces along the lake and road generation spaces, while bags collected by volunteers left the company “Cleaning”.
Let's Do It express concern about the constant pollution of road belts, because of car waste, so we ask citizens to be more responsible.
Also disturbing is the throwing of garbage into spaces around Badovci, as they are increasing the pollution level in Lake.
Let's Do It Kosova Executive Director Luan Hasanaj has asked citizens and institutions to take care of this part, as it supplies almost the entire Kosovo with drinking water.
“Within the framework of the action to clear Kosovo today we have come to Badovc, to clean up this space which is unfortunately in very bad shape. The goal is that besides cleaning up, we seek responsibility from institutions even from irresponsible citizens. From this lake it is supplied with almost all of Kosovo and turned into a depot, this does not want a comment against”, Hasanaj said.
Hasanaj said preventative measures for polluting such areas are fines for polluting, so he called for the commitment of police and inspectors.
The number of warehouses that have been evacuated is over 500 on Kosovo territory. Consciousness has increased. It is a debate about the state of the environment in Kosovo. We expect to take some activities to improve the situation, it's fine, the green police. We've got a road belt problem, we've got a bad situation and garbage all over”, Hasanaj declared.
Likewise, Letés Do It announced that under campaign activities “Cleaning Kosovo” today has been held training with 33 teachers in Kline.
Training “raising teaching capacities in the field of living environment” will continue tomorrow in this municipality, next week in other Kosovo municipalities.
This training has also been held in the municipality of Istog and Podujevo, while being organised in co-operation with the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and municipal education directorates.
